Holiday Rerun

Television always reruns shows during a holiday weekend so I thought I would do the same with a post.  It’s not exactly the same but I did post some of these photos of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s Long Island home more than two years ago.  It was designed by Thom Filicia and is one of my favorite homes.  Enjoy!

ABC Family channel was rerunning The Sound of Music yesterday. My husband came home from golf and dinner with the boys at 9pm to find me sitting with a bowl of popcorn singing The Lonely Goatherd. I thought he was going to die laughing. Happy Labor day!

I guess I missed this the first time around – it’s just beautiful. I think my favorite shots are the 2nd with the dark wood door with the traditional brass rim lock in contrast to the white modern entry and the ones of the warm paneled library with its eclectic mix of furniture.

This is a beautifully classic house. Elegant, but not off-putting. Thanks for the rerun. It looks like women’s fashion is going this way.

I love the entrance light fixture. Does anyone know who makes it?
