Stella McCartney’s Weekend Retreat

I think they key to a successful career in a creative field is having a place to get away from it all on the weekends.  Stella McCartney’s gardens at the home she shares with her family in the British countryside look like the perfect place to recharge your batteries.  They created all the gardens from scratch but they feel like they have been there forever.  The colors of the flowers have even inspired her fashion collections.  They are inspiring me to go take a walk in Central Park.  Bon Weekend!

Thanks for posting the photos–one can see much more detail in these than in the ones published in the magazine.

    Ok, you’ve found PARADISE!

I dream of having a place like that! I am definitely not a garden although I have a beautiful garden at home, but I can’t take any credit for that. BUT Stella’s garden is just unbelievable. It’s so romantic, isn’t? And the last picture of the horse running… oh, just stunning.

How can’t you be creative as she is when living in a place like that?

Nature should always inspire the best of you!

Have a “Bon weekend” too! 😉

it is my favourite part of the new Vogue. Gorgeous (and I think you’re right about creative people needing a place to get away from it all).
