Lighten Up: Part Deux

Despite the monsoon that flooded down on New York this morning, I’m still trying to lighten up my apartment and wardrobe for summer.  Although the unspoken rule is that you can’t wear white until after Memorial Day, I think we all know that rules were meant to be broken. Enjoy!

I need to find sunglasses like the ones Michelle Pfieffer wears in Scarface.

I’m already wearing my whites! Love that grand foyer.

I don’t have to worry about when to wear white here in SW Florida…almost any time of year is appropriate. I love the purse in the image under the foyer (love the foyer too). Any idea who makes it?

    Heather,

Don’t worry–by wearing white now you won’t even be breaking a rule. As the above comments evidence, the ancient “No White Before Memorial Day” is no longer a rule!

    Hi, Heather,

Check Cutler & Gross; they’ve got sunglasses (in a color called humble potato) very like the ones from the film. One drawback—I believe they’re over $500. I would have to tether those specs to my person to prevent me from leaving them behind on my first outing with them.
