More to Love in Madrid: Part Dos

Almost exactly a year ago I posted a different incarnation of this apartment in Madrid belonging to Santiago Castillo in More to Love in Madrid.  And almost exactly a year before that I posted the home of his brother, the interior designer Lorenzo Castillo, in Chic in Madrid.  Funny how those things happen.  I think this might be an older version of Santiago’s apartment since it looks like it might have been in a magazine in 2009.  As you know, I love seeing how owners and designers redecorate a space and this one is no exception.  The original design was much more masculine but just as interesting.  Enjoy.

This is my dream aesthetic! Your post on his brother’s home last year was very inspiring as well.
    thanks for posting.

This was the “before” version, right after Lorenzo finished the total space, when Santiago was living here. Now Santiago has moved out and Lorenzo has moved in, leaving the big apartment in the same building all to office and showroom space.

Honestly, each picture is a tutorial in how to make a home personal, stylish and beautiful. Simply wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing, Heather.

I love this space–graphic, modern, textural, tribal, international, deep and soulful are just a few of the elements that stand out. And purely Spanish. Take me home. Thank you for, once again, featuring this amazing designer and antiquarian. Mary

This space is very well done. Tastefully masculine and graphics carried out through the entire space, right down to the shower enclosure. Please post more!!

Hi – can you tell what kind of a sofa this is? Is it a specific brand or type? Thanks!
