I love receiving fashion designer Jenni Kayne‘s blog Rip + Tan, named after her children. It’s full of healthy recipes, interesting profiles, and eco-friendly advice. Maybe it’s because she and her family live in California. I’m also still in awe of her organizational skills that were on display in Martha Stewart Living magazine. So there was no one else I could possibly ask to write a eco-chic holiday gift guide. I’m so happy she said yes because she’s introduced me and you to so many wonderful small companies and lovely products. Her cookbook suggestions make me question how she stays in shape so maybe I’l have to ask her to submit her workout routine next time. Enjoy!

I recently discovered Solstice Canyon’s gourmet almond butters and fell hard and fast. Available in three amazing flavors, the Cardamom & Clove is just perfect for the holidays.

I love granola in all sorts of variations, but my favorite is Lauren Soloff’s simply delicious blend of oats fruits and nuts, Granola Project, which I carry in all of my stores.

I’m a big fan of smudge sticks, as much for their cleansing abilities as for their amazing scents. Some to try: these cedar bundles from Etsy.

My all-time favorite incense, Pinon, from Incense of the West, emits the most amazing subtle, woodsy scent, making it the perfect thing to burn around the holidays.

My favorite candle, Diptyque Feu De Bois, has the most comforting, fireside scent. I burn it all year long.

I love everything from Juniper Ridge. Some great picks for this time of year: the Christmas Fir Cabin Spray, White Sage Smudge Sticks, and Dessert Pinon Campfire Incense.

I have a Hanukkah party every year with the same family and friends and it’s super fun. My son Tanner and I always choose a homemade gift to give – last year we infused olive oils and vinegars, and this year we’re putting together gingerbread cookie dough and cute recipes to go with.

For the cocktail enthusiasts, I love this gorgeous Sol & Luna leather flask, available at my stores.
