Even though we’re supposed to be getting more snow tomorrow in New York, I’m still planning my wardrobe for Spring. I have to make sure I’m covered for upcoming events like Easter, my birthday, and a few trips.  While you may think that Burberry London only make trench coats, they also offer beautiful dresses and separates that often become my favorites.  It’s also easy to order them from Nordstrom who always offers free shipping and returns.

I normally don’t like pink but this harsh winter has me wanting to lighten up for spring.  If you already have a traditional khaki trench, this pink Terrington Trench Coat is a perfect pick me up. The pale color would look great with grey and black too.

If you’re looking for a new dress for Passover or Easter, I recommend this Burberry London Lace Fit & Flare Dress. The fit and color are extremely flattering and would be perfect paired with the Terrington Trench Coat.

My favorite uniform for spring is a blazer, blouse, and jeans.  I can’t wait to slip into this Larston Mulberry Silk Jacket when the weather finally warms up.  It comes with matching pants so you could also put together another great ensemble for Passover or Easter.

After what seems like six months of wearing black tights, I can’t wait to slip into this Velma Short Sleeve Lace Fit & Flare Dress with bare legs, after I self tan them of course. The Larston Mulberry Silk Jacket would also look great paired with it too.  nordstrom-burberry-london-spring-2015-habituallychic-005

When you can’t quite give up your black clothing, this white Amberhill Oversized Cashmere Coat would help to lighten things up.

Every website and magazine is professing the need for a white skirt this spring and summer.  This Full Fil Coupe Skirt would be perfect for pairing with a dressy blouse, a casual blue buttondown, and even a striped tee shirt. I love the longer hem that works with heels or flat sandals

I love grey and white for spring so I’d even pair the Full Fil Coupe Skirt with this Cashmere Crewneck Sweatshirt for a casual weekend look.

I like wearing black on a rainy spring day and this Sandringham Long Slim Trench Coat would fit the bill.  I also prefer a black trench to khaki for evening events too.

I also like lightening up my evening outfits for spring and this Christa Short Sleeve Lace Dress is great alternative to my usual little black dresses. I’d also pair it with the black Sandringham Long Slim Trench Coat.

It’s also a good time to see if your traditional trench might need an upgrade. I know my trench of more than five years might need to be replaced with this Kensington Long Trench Coat. I don’t really mind a rainy day when I love my coat.  And don’t forget, April showers bring May flowers.
