You know a kitchen design is good when it makes you mentally redesign your own space.  That’s how I feel about the Sotheby’s Showhouse kitchen designed by St. Charles of New York using appliances by Gaggenau. The custom color of the cabinetry and brass hardware is a perfect contrast to the antique silver and china from Sotheby’s.  I also love how they mixed modern art by Tom Wassellmann and Ed Ruscha with the George III Giltwood Mirror and Chandelier and black and white photography. There’s even a silver plate from Picasso. See why I thought it was so good?
