I’m enjoying the blizzard in my cozy apartment but this house in Sundance, Utah looks like the perfect place to ride out a snowstorm and do some skiing. It belongs to Ralph Lauren executive Buffy Birrittella and was featured along with her Hamptons home in the October 2015 issue of Elle Decor. Birrittella was one of Ralph Lauren’s first 10 employees and it was while she was dressing Robert Redford for the Great Gatsby that she visited Sundance. She fell in love with the landscape and lifestyle and bought a cottage.  She’s since upgraded to a larger home to make more room for her collection of Native American rugs and accessories straight out of a Ralph Lauren Home advertisement. I’ve never visited Utah and this home makes me more determined to plan a trip this year but maybe when it’s a little warmer.
