Although I had an amazing trip to California, more on that later, I am very excited for my upcoming trip to Paris in two weeks.  While this apartment in Lyon and not Paris, it still has that quintessential French feel that includes tall windows, boiseries, and beautiful wood floors. It is the home of designers Pierre Emmanuel Martin and Stéphane Garotin of Maison Hand. It was just featured in Vogue Living and Elle Decoration and you can easily see why. The 140-square-meter flat is on the third floor of a building from 1852, with main rooms that all face south while the other rooms surround an internal courtyard. The neutral backdrop and lack of pattern are the perfect backdrop to treasures found on the couple’s travels. I think I may have to plan a side trip to Lyon on my trip.
