I follow both India Hicks and David Flint Wood on Instagram but I don’t remember either of them giving it away that they were building an English country house in Oxfordshire, England. Perhaps, it was because they were saving the surprise for the June 2017 issue of Architectural Digest in which it’s featured. They partnered with architectAndrew Nichols to create their ode to a Merchant Ivory film that looks like it’s always been on the property. But since it’s new, it’s probably less drafty and damp inside. Sometimes new construction isn’t such a bad thing.
