As I mentioned a little while back, I’m celebrating my ten year blog anniversary with a trip to San Francisco and Napa, California with my friend from Utah and we’re off today.

JetBlue is the best airline to fly from New York to San Francisco and I look forward to trying their new JetBlue Mint  first class that is getting rave reviews. We’ll be staying at the Four Seasons for a few days first which will include dinner at MKT Restaurant.

My dear friend Grant Gibson has already offered to show me all the new stores and old favorites like MarchHudson Grace, and Allison Caccoma‘s new store on Sacramento Street. I also can’t wait for dinner at Garibaldi’s which is my favorite restaurant in San Francisco.

Unfortunately, The Sequoia is closed for a private party both nights we’re in town so we’re going to grab drinks with one of my old interior design clients at Petit Marlowe also designed by Ken Fulk instead.

After San Francisco, we’ll drive the new Lincoln Continental to Napa for a relaxing stay at Auberge du Soleil.  My friend has never been to Napa before so I’m excited for him experience it for the first time. Our itinerary includes lunch at Bouchon, a Cellarius Kitchen Experience with Chef Travis Westrope at Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, a wine tasting at HALL Wines, and dinner at Acacia House at Las Alcobas which someone recently declared their favorite new place in Napa.

As usual, you can follow all the fun in real time on Instagram and Instagram Stories.

XOXO,

HC
