Best Coats for Fall from Nordstrom

It’s still hot in New York so it’s not coat weather yet. But I’m of the mindset that if you buy them, it will come. My coat closet is already packed but I can’t help buy at least one new coat each season and I can’t think of a better place to go for coats than Nordstrom. Their free shipping and returns make shopping easy and stress free. I’ve put together a lot of options in different styles and colors available at Nordstrom to get you ready for the cooler temperatures that are bound to arrive at some point. Happy Shopping!

I really want a red coat this fall. I met my college boyfriend while wearing a red duffle coat and this red faux fur trim hooded peacoat would add a nice pop of color to my neutral wardrobe.

This Wool & Cashmere Open Front Topper would be perfect for the first chill days of fall. The pink ivory color is my favorite neutral shade to pair with jeans too.

Leaf peeping weekends are perfect for this olive Barbour Acorn Field Jacket.

I’ve seen this Chloé Iconic Wool Blend Coat in person and the color is so beautiful. When everyone else is wearing black coats, you’ll stand out like a breath of fresh air.

Long time readers will know that I have a grey coat problem. I’m not really allowed to buy any more but I might have to make an exception for this grey twill car coat. It’s a great price too.

I own a wool coat with black leather sleeves that always gets compliments. This Asymmetrical Leather Sleeve Coat is a another great option for transitional weather.

Another great red wool blend coat option that also comes in petite sizes and in black, light grey, and icy lavender.

I’m the only person in New York who doesn’t own a down puffer coat but this might be the year I break down and buy one. I love this Canada Goose Hooded Down Parka in graphite but it also comes in seven other colors.

Millennial pink is not just for millennials. I love the color of this bouclé belted coat.

This grey Genuine Shearling Trim Wool Blend Hooded Coat would be perfect for weekends in and out of the city.

There is nothing more classic than a camel coat and no one does them better than Max Mara. This Max Mara Camel Hair Coat is a classic that you will have in your wardrobe forever.

If bright red is too much for you, this wool crepe coat in shiraz is a great alternative.

The menswear trend extends from blazers to coats. I love the mix of patterns on this Houndstooth & Glen Plaid Coat.

If your closet is filled with plain colored coats, maybe it’s time to add in an Embroidered Long Wool Blend Coat like this navy one.

Another great camel Wool & Cashmere Coat option that is also available in charcoal and dark currant.

I love the contrast piping on this light grey wool Double Breasted Utility Coat. It also comes in navy and black.

Last but not least, I love this black Double Breasted Long Coat with gold military style buttons.

Whatever your style and whatever the weather, I hope this helps you find the right coat for fall and winter.

XOXO,

HC
