I know many of you will be visiting New York this holiday season so I wanted to share a few great pop up shops and one permanent store open now. When you run out of time for online shopping, you still have a lot of wonderful options in the city.

It was a fun treat to see Sid and Ann Mashburn in New York yesterday at Hayward House. I keep asking Ann when they will open a real store in New York but a pop up is better than nothing right now. They brought a lot of stock if you want to buy a present for yourself or your friends and family. I have my eye on Ann’s ivory Tie Neck Blouse so you may see me over there this weekend.

There was nothing more fun this holiday season than attending a party at the goop Gift NYC pop up with Gwyneth Paltrow herself. I can attest that she’s very tall and very beautiful in person. Not that anyone probably doubted that fact. The pop up which is open until December 24th is full of all the great products she promotes in her online shop including her goop Wellness line, as well as beauty products, books, clothing, fragrances, home furnishings, gifts, health aids, kitchen accessories, and shoes.

I love Cuyana products and their tag line “fewer, better things” so it is very exciting to be able to shop their pop up shop with Parachute Home downtown. They have so many great gift options available and lots of bags, clothing, and accessories to buy yourself. While you are there, you can saunter across the street to the new permanent Sézane store too.

Longtime readers know my love for Everlane. Some things have been hit or miss lately so I am happy they have opened a permanent store on Prince Street so I can try things on before buying. The $100 cashmere sweaters make a great gift for men and women.
