I know some of you will think this holiday gift guide is too early and others will be excited so you can start shopping now. I’m posting a week earlier than usual because retailers are worried about shipping delays as more people than ever will be shopping online for gifts this year. Many friends and family also won’t be able to travel to spend the holidays together so they will be mailing presents to their loved ones. I think we could all use some fun holiday cheer now and since it’s snowing in many part of the country, it feels like the holidays are already here.

My followers on Instagram asked for gift ideas for some hard to shop for people like a “husband who has everything and just wants a yacht” to a “mother in laws who doesn’t really like you” and tweens so I’m going to try to do my best to find something for everyone. This is the first of four or five gift guides so I’ll have a lot more gift suggestions coming each week.

One last thing. I think it’s important to think thoughtfully about what the recipient would like to receive especially after this year. Check out their Instagram account posts and stories. What are they posting? Is there something they’ve mentioned needing or wanting or wish they could afford? If you really look, I bet you will figure out the perfect present. I also think it’s nice to give something long lasting with an ephemeral gift like food or a gift card so they will remember you long after the other thing is gone.
