I keep joking that I’m cut off from shopping every time something is delivered but that didn’t stop me from shopping up a storm in May. A few readers have said they like when I share what I bought so I thought I’d finally put a post together.

This embroidered cotton dress is the perfect casual white dress for summer. Someone left a comment complaining that the fabric was heavy. It’s not that heavy but it’s thick enough not to be see-through which is a rarity these days. Dresses at H&M run very large and I take 2-3 sizes smaller in them than I do at Zara so keep that in mind when ordering.

I had my eye on these yellow Manolo Blahnik T-Strap Flat Python Sandals and was waiting for them to go on sale. As soon as they did go on sale at Bergdorf Goodman, I pounced and received them via same day delivery from the store which was great service.

When I bought the embroidered cotton dress, I didn’t buy the black version. I set an alert and bookmarked the page and checked almost every day. I often have luck this way so don’t ever give up if you’re size is sold out.

I have these Castaner Ankle Tie Espadrille Sandals in few other colors but couldn’t find black until this year. I don’t like how I look in dresses with sneakers so I wear espadrilles when I want comfort.

This Zara linen midi dress has become a favorite go-to dress this spring. Unbeknownst to me, my chic fashion forward friend Eleanor also bought it so it has her stamp of approval too. I have been wearing it with the espadrilles below but I will also pair it with the Manolo Blahnik T-Strap Flat Python Sandals too.

I love these colorful espadrilles so much that I bought two pair. They are limited edition collaboration between Castaner and Paul Smith and I want another pair for next summer. They add a great pop of color with the dark tan dress and go with all my other dresses too. I always get compliments when I wear them.

This white linen shirtdress is a great swim cover up and beach dress but it’s a little too light for the city. It also runs large.

If you hate Birkenstocks, I guarantee you will love these EVA Birkenstock sandals. They are insanely comfortable and waterproof which makes them perfect for the beach and pool. I only bought white so far but might order more colors. I usually wear a size 37 but I had to size down to a 36 in this style.

I’ve never met a blue and white dress I didn’t love and this blue and white shirtdress is a perfect summer dress. I had my tailor close up the large slits

I’m glad I got my hands on these limited edition Schumacher x Margaux Ballet Mules in Le Castellet. They are so chic and work as well with jeans as they do with dresses.

After I ordered the embroidered dresses, I decided to also get the white Embroidered Cotton Blouse. It’s the perfect top to wear with jeans.

I have a grey cashmere travel bag from Haremlique that I bought at the Four Seasons Surf Club but it’s a little wintery to use in the summer. So I bought this blue floral maxi tote bag. It has a zipper which is great for travel.

I couldn’t wait to get If in Doubt Wash Your Hair by Anya Hindmarch. I am enjoying it but there is a lot of advice for working mothers which doesn’t apply to me.

I treated myself to a few new products from Westman Atelier too. I already owned the Baby Cheeks Blush Stick in petal but decided to try the Face Trace Contour Stick in Biscuit and the Lit Up Highlight Stick in Lit. They are all great products that feel great and look chic. I also order the Blender Brush to apply them and the new Squeaky Clean Lip Oil in Garçonne. I used to layer a discontinued shade of Chanel lipgloss over an old lipstick and this is the first product I’ve found to replace them. I highly recommend everything Gucci Westman makes.

I need to get my hair cut so it’s very long right now so I’ve been curling it in loose waves when I have time. They would always fall out so I have been using two greta Oribe products. The Thick Dry Finishing Spray adds amazing volume when my hair is feeling flat. I have sprayed it on my hair after setting it in velcro rollers and it works that way too. It’s my new favorite product because my hair still feels light and bouncy and not weighed down or coated. My hair salon recommended the Superfine Hair Spray to hold my waves after using the curling iron and it’s amazing too. I’m going to put together a full summer haircare post soon too.
