The September issue of H&G is out today but I thought I would post a few more images from the August issue.

I think the vintage hubs turned into modern sculpture by Tom Filicia in this Hamptons home he designed are so cool and original. I love the idea of found objects as art.

I’m not sure I love the freize but I definitely love the cobalt blue front door. Tres chic!!!

    Wow, I’ve seen photos of this project before but never seen the freize. Seeing as it’s not in any of Tom’s portfolio pics on his site, I get the feeling it was the owner’s idea, because it’s pretty yucky and doesn’t go with any of the rest of the design.

    The color matches the front door, however, I think the freize design seems too Asian for the rest of the decor but to each is own. The owners obviously love it so I guess that’s all the matters!
