Spring Magic at the Mansion

After our visit with Mr. Hadley on Tuesday, Grant and I did a little shopping, mostly window shopping, on Madison Avenue. Of course, that was after fueling up at JG Melon. After that, our first priority was the Ralph Lauren Mansion. There is chic and then there is Ralph Lauren Chic. The home floor was decked out for spring and couldn’t have looked more beautiful! I could move in there tomorrow and be happy forever and I bet you could too! Bon Weekend!

Looks amazing. I love the blue and white jar in the fireplace. Time for a jaunt to Pearl River

I really like that stone fireplace, was it part of the original property or have you fitted new? You photos remind me of many many homes here in the UK, only yours far better designed.

What to do with awful dated cobblestone fireplace?…. paint white, add art…problem solved! Just beautiful. I completely agree with royalapothic, the blue and white jar is perfect.

Oh I agree! The first time my wife and I went to NYC together we found ourselves in the [then] newly opened RL Mansion. I bought a tie. In the elevator, there was a fellow who was a DEAD RINGER for RL. Being outlanders, we took it upon ourselves to tell him how much we loved his products and store. He thanked us and politely said he wasn’t RL, but he had this twinkle in his eye…

It has been one of my favorite places to shop ever since.

BTW, I loved your post yesterday on Mr. Hadley. I hope that if I were ever on top of my field I would be as gracious and gentlemanly. And his thoughts help us all achieve, regardless of our professions. Great post.

I love the look of that blue and white jar in the fireplace, too! Not as crazy about the giant b/w jar behind the white chair – it’s a tad ‘too’ big – you could hide an anaconda in there (I have a friend who keeps giant snakes so I know about thing like this:-)

    Gorgeous rooms overall, though.

I so agree -i LOVE the mansion! just going up through it to get to the home collection is a thrill. A trip to NY is not complete without a trip there for me!

Great post, Heather! So fun to see the latest at the Mansion. My brother used to be the interior decorator for all of Ralph’s NY stores and he took me behind the scenes and into all the little back passageways of the Mansion. So fun to see how they create the signature look. Have a great weekend!

It has been so very long since I visited your blog and while I am enjoying a fresh cup of wonderful tea ,coming here is better than the tiny cookie laying beside the tea cup on the saucer!

How wonderful that you got to meet Albert Hadley! Now did you ever get to meet Jeremiah Goodman? There is where we left off if I do remember well?!

Your blog sure has grown into something wonderful and I am glad you did make that choice to leave that job you once had,it took you a long time to decide take the big step, but looking back it has been worth it all!

I’ll pop in more often from now on,till then all the very best!

I used to work in a furniture showroom as a high school job and it was always the Ralph Lauren Home items that caught my eye. He just gets it right every time! Great post!

I can’t tell you how much I love Ralph Lauren. I even love William-Sonoma Home sometimes just because it is so very Ralph. Both are some places are some of my favorite shopping.
