New Leash on Life!

We are in the middle of the dog days of summer in New York so I’m hoping these cute real dogs will cheer everyone up! I have been dreaming about getting a little furry friend and if I do, I am definitely getting a rescue dog and some chic accessories for them from Found My Animal! I actually saw their leash in a photo on The Sartorialist (below) yesterday and was wondering where it came from so I’m glad one of their owners emailed me. Perfect timing! Found My Animal was founded to bring awareness to pet adoption and their leashes are handmade in New England from custom made rope and the cute collars are waterproof. What’s even better is that they donate 25% of their proceeds to the non-profit group Louis Animal Foundation! If your friend is as tiny as chihuahua or as big as an elephant, they can also made you a custom size leash or collar. You’re on your own to find a dog as cute as their model Chauncey though!

Love the look of these leashes. Being a huge animal supporter I’m always looking for alternatives to leather. Thank you for posting the info.
Oh, and your blog is one of the best, keep up the good work!

Gorgeous leashes! Thanks for bringing this company to our attention. How wonderful that they donate 25% of their proceeds.

These are fantastic – I would love to add them to my luxury online boutique – thanks for finding them. I have an amazing 15 yr old rescue dog myself that came from the pound, so anyone who can promote pet adoption, and do so in such a stylish way – should be supported!

Jones definitely needs one of the black leashes and a new snazzy collar. Will check them out. Being a dog (and cat) person, having a dog is the most wonderful gift that I give myself everyday. Good luck in finding your love.

These are outstanding Miss Habitually Chic, especially as they support such a good cause. Our Silly Tilly came from a Bulldog Rescue group, and she is just a love. (Wacky, but still a little love.)

Hope you are having a stellar weekend!
