Cozy Cabin

Right now, it’s snowing and blowing and very cold and I’m still wishing I was someplace sunny and warm! But since that’s not an option, I wouldn’t mind be wrapped up in a buffalo plaid blanket in a cozy cabin, preferably one designed by Ralph Lauren! He really does know how to do warm and inviting. Now all I need is a hot toddy!

A good book, a hot toddy, yes I could feel comfortable in any of those settings!

I really want to curl up, in front of that fire, with both of those dogs and a good book…Hemingway, I’m thinking. It’s crazy that I’m reading this particular posting as I just returned from this little appointment-only shop, here in Chicago, called Blackwatch 68. It’s full of thes plaid blankets and yummy, warm furnishings. This is exactly what it reminded me of. Love this!

If I substitute Jones for the golden retriever, I could move right in….the bedroom is gorgeous. Are those round side tables by RL, or are they antique? Thanks for the great photos. Mary

Those dogs are too much! They are begging me to come sit with them. Gorgeous cabin. I could stand to wrap up and sit by that cozy fire and write down my New Year’s resolutions right about now.

    It’s a little over-the-top for me. I’d tone it down a bit.
