I am loving that J.Crew is featuring real people in the catalog and online! It’s real people who buy and wear J.Crew so they are perfect models! While the real girls garnered all the glory this month, I’m loving the Men of Monocle feature most of all! I’ve never heard of Monocle magazine before but I think they might have found themselves a new subscriber! Oh, and just so we’re clear J.Crew, I would be happy to volunteer myself for any future real people features. (Note to self: go to the gym!) But until, I will placing my real people order for spring. Happy Shopping!

Great picks here! Monocle is fantastic. A friend introduced it to me a few years ago and the photos and articles are really incredible. Enjoy!

HC-when you visit LA you should check out the Monocle store at the Brentwood Country Mart.

Monocle is my favourite magazine! It’s completely relevant and addresses all aspects of modern loving. Tyler Brûlé also started Wallpaper magazine. The man can do no wrong!

I’m loving this tendency of “using” real people on fashion shows, advertisement and catalogues.
Of course it’s not a question of being the same pattern of elegance but a question of being fair towards the less genetial affortunate and providing choices for them…
So nice of you to join the current. Those real and normal guys you posted are as yummy as Gudd Law ;).

i think the reason j crew is so successful is due to the fact that the fashion is current and fresh, the clothes fit our “non model” bodies and they are true to themselves. bravo to j crew…they just continue to get better all the time… xx

Helloooo Andrew Tuck. Love the glasses and the coat. I think this is such a brilliant idea on J.Crew’s part.

Such eye candy! I once went out with a far-too-old-for-me bar tender that was a spitting image of Mr. Robert Bound…sigh. Almost as handsome as my fiance : )
    XOXO

Monocle is a delight. Serious stuff, beautifully designed. As with The New Yorker, I read things in Monocle in which I have little interest just because it’s so pretty and well-written.

I bit the bullet and subscribed today.

I’m a bit fan of Tyler Brule and Monocle (he also founded Wallpaper magazine). Lucky for Christian he plays for his team, unlucky for us 🙁
