The Art of Spring

Now that the weather is starting to warm up and there is a touch of spring in the air, it’s time to lighten up my nail polish color. My favorite light shade is Potato Fields by Essie but I am loving the new Essie Art of Spring collection. The fun shades are named after artists and styles and include Van D’Go, Neo Whimsical, Red Nouveau, Tart Deco, Pop Art Pink, and Lilacism. The highlight of New York Fashion Week for me was meeting Essie founder, Essie Weingarten backstage at the tents. I gushed about how much I love her polishes and hinted that I thought Habitually Chic would make a great polish name. She said she’d think about it so I’ll be keeping my perfectly manicured fingers crossed for luck! Bon Weekend!

I love essie nail polishes. I’m wearing watermelon right now on my toes. That light color coral is beautiful – I’ll have to keep a look out for it.

I don’t think OPI is out, they do the darker shades better than anyone. Bar none. But Essie takes the honors for the lighter hues. I’ve been a fan of ‘Waltz’ for forever! I’m curious to try ‘Potato Fields’!
I think we’re ALL ready for a little Spring! And the OSCARS…curious to check out those red carpet nails…

I am more of a Sophisticated Lady or Sold Out Show when it comes to the light ones, but my all time favorite darker shade is Mauva Java and Angora Cardi is catching up to a close #2.
