Takashimaya was never the same after they moved the floral boutique upstairs. After the store closes this weekend, I’m happy to announce that the floral creative team will be moving downtown to Florisity. Definitely check them out!

I didn’t even know that Takashimaya was closing! I used to just walk in there on a whim up to the flower floor … mood changing all the time!

I loved that store and bought my most expensive sweater (ever) there. I did manage to take a pic from the third floor balcony of the floral shop at the bottom before they asked me to put my camera away…….oops! I still have their triangular bag and happy to hear that fabulous floral talent has found a new home. XO Thanks for the source and will visit when in NY.

Takashimaya’s closing made me sooo depressed. It was a return to NY ritual..shopping, florals, the Tea Box.
Such treasure dwindle & fade away while cheap crap that lasts not a season sells like hotcakes. Somehow I believe our world is upside down.

Glad to hear their floral artistry still live on here in the states. I LOVE it!
