Eat Pray Love

In keeping with the Italian theme I seem to have going on, I thought I would remind everyone that Eat Pray Love will be released on August 13th. For the two people who don’t know about Eat Pray Love, the movie which stars Julia Roberts, is based on the best selling book of the same name by Elizabeth Gilbert. In it, she goes on a journey of self discovery after a divorce and breakup. It was one of my all time favorites and I’m excited to see how it translates on film. Eat refers to the time the author spent in Italy and since I am trying to plan my own trip, I am posting pics of Julia in Italy. Pray refers to the time she spent in India and Love to Bali, Indonesia. For those photos, you can check out the Eat Pray Love movie website. Ciao!

A sweet hello from Frog Hollow Farm. I loved, loved, loved that book! Elizabeth Gilbert’s shop is not far from my home, I need to take a drive over to meet her. My dream is to live in Florence, Italy for a year – Elizabeth’s book really spoke to me and redefined that dream as more realistic than I previously thought – I feel that many women are searching for a clearer definition of who they are – even those of us with wonderful families and strong marriages. Ciao, bella!

The book is irresistible and Elizabeth writes so well. It is a while since I read it the first time – I think it might be time to give it a second round before I head off to see the film.

Have a fantastic time in la bella Italia. What cities are you going to?

On your trip, are you visiting Florence? I posted tips on it in my blog (it’s in Spanish), and I’d be happy to share them with you in English, should you wish me to do so.
    Have a nice weekend!
