The Italian Touch

I always joke that the Italian tourists are always the best dressed and the book Italian Touch definitely backs up my assertions. Tod’s commissioned the book that includes over 100 Italian families and their homes but you don’t even notice the product placement. Everyone is elegant and chic yet completely casual and relaxed. What’s amazing is that most of the women aren’t even wearing make up and yet they are amazingly beautiful. I don’t think you’d ever find an American woman to pose without professional hair and make up so that’s quite refreshing. The book is like a love letter to Italy and definitely makes me want to move there! Enjoy!

Gorgeous pictures. This brings up a question: what are your 10 favorite books? 10 favorite design books? I love your aesthetic, and reading your blog always makes me happy.

Am a London girl currently living in Venice – Italy, and I have to say that Italians are born with a sense of style. The country is beautiful, the food is super tasty, and the people (men) are good looking. A single girl in her twenties must be well behaved 🙂

Indeed you are correct that one would be hard-pressed to find an American woman to appear on camera minus her makeup! But truly… what gorgeous people these are. WOW. Lovely Italian surroundings and inhabitants. What style! Thank you for sharing!

This book looks like a fantastic way to spend time relaxing on the sofa. The images are gorgeous and you are most absolutely right – Italians know design and of course style.

I have included this post in my weekly Cups of Tea, as I couldn’t help but share the beauty with my readers. The post will be up Sunday (June 27th).

Thanks again for continuing to post beautiful images, ideas and inspiration. I hope your weekend is going well. =)
