Tastemaker Tag Sale: Matt Albiani

I know it’s a little late notice but photographer Matt Albiani is part of today’s Tastemaker Tag Sale on One Kings Lane. As you can see from his summer home in Montauk and his West Village one bedroom, Matt loves anything nautical so I hope some of these treasures as well as his hunky lifeguard portraits might be up for grabs. Not sure about the sailfish though! Happy Shopping!

    Hi Heather,
Tx for the heads up! Always wondered what the deal was with the Danish flag in the first image…. I spotted it the very first time I saw this image, it might have been in an old Domino magazine, I don’t recall…. Since there is also an Australian flag in his home, perhaps he collects them???

The sailfish is a bit out there for me…, Phoebe Howard is one of the designers who seems to love it -seen it in a few of her interiors!

Another inspiring post. I’m looking to buy a little place down on the Florida panhandle (the oil isn’t really a problem there) and I’m into the “old Florida” style for my potential vacation place. Also just posted about it. It’s a slightly different aesthetic, but is also somewhat similar to your posted pics.
    Brava!

My eccentric ex-mother in law papered her bathroom in National Geographic maps back in the 80’s. When Matt does it, it somehow lookss a whole lot better! LOL

Makes me want to go on holiday.

There is a gorgeous house near us that has a boat in the living room just like the one here and i always have to look right in to see if anyone is sitiing there. The boat just draws me right in.
