The Fantastic Work of Jeremiah Goodman

One of my dreams is to meet artist Jeremiah Goodman and watch him work.  Since that hasn’t happened in person yet, I’m glad I can see photos of him sketching and painting.  Usually his work is on the smaller scale but the Swedish retailer Acne commissioned him to create three large canvas murals for their London boutique.  I don’t usually like to mention age but Mr. Goodman is 88 and his fantastic work is clearly keeping him young!

He’s 88 and still painting. Amazing. When you love what you do you clearly don’t ever have to retire. Great post!

Have you ever noticed that many artists seem to live happy, productive lives well beyond what we would consider average. I have always attributed this longevity to the fact that they are plugged into their creative nature (for me that’s God) far more than the average human being. Just breeze through a Davenports and the statistic will amaze you. Great Post on this artist. Have a super week-end. Mary

I am loving the art section of this blog.. it’s inspiring. It shows how the work from Jeremiah Goodman can create the whole room into one piece of art.
I’d love my work to be as loose and free and his.. it has such movement and depth. This artwork is what I aim to produce.
