Chic at Home: Vanessa Traina

The November issue of Harper’s Bazaar finally arrived yesterday.  The first thing I did was turn to A Fashionable Life which is my favorite feature.  This month, we get to peek into the West Village apartment of the downtown “it girl” Vanessa Traina shot by The Selby.  (There are more photos online and in the magazine.)  For those of you who don’t know, Vanessa is the daughter of Danielle Steele and is also a Chanel ambassador and occasional model.  It’s refreshing to see a home that hasn’t been perfectly put together by an interior designer and reflects the owner’s personal style.  Although, she’s friends with Ryan Korban so I wonder if he helped her.  Also in the magazine is a great look inside shoe designer Charlotte Dellal‘s London flat.  I think Harper’s Bazaar is definitely giving Vogue a run for their money. Enjoy!

I thought this pad had a touch o’ the Ryan Korban about it — good deduction. Perhaps they’re friends with design benefits ; )

    Heather,

I saw these photos yesterday on Bazaar’s site! Her home is so gorgeous. I am DYING to get my hands on a copy of this issue– hopefully my local barnes & noble has gotten this issue in. the kansas city bookstores always receive magazine shipments late– it’s the bane of my existence haha.

hope you’re enjoying your weekend 🙂

Vanessa’s home is tres stylish, as is she. But most importantly, how cute is her dog? Adorable!

Your blog is beautiful, stylish and cozy at the same time. Harpers is my favorite fashion magazine and your pumpkin cookies look delicious. I will definitely be making those. So glad I discovered your blog!

Love the wall with all the black-and-white phot’s- very 60’s ( and very Anna Wintour’s office )- so chique.
    The dog is adorable!!!

I like her little knick knacks, a collection she probably amassed from all the jet setting. I only wish they covered more of her closet though! She’s become such a fashion icon, the space must be a dream.

This was a fabulous issue, and I agree with you. Bazaar is giving Vogue a run for their money.
    Have a nice evening.
