If there is one person who loves trolling the world for interesting objects, it’s Federico de Vera.  His carefully curated shop of curiosities on Crosby Street in Soho is one of my favorite stores in New York.  Lucky for me, he has just opened an Upper East Side outpost.  It is a little jewel box made up of actual jewels and other little odds and ends.  It’s worth stopping by just to see the back wall of antique boiseries.  C’est magnifique!
