A Blue and White Wedding

When I saw the photo of Minnie Mortimer’s wedding reception in The New York Times, I thought the table looked beautiful.  I never found any more photos until last week when I was looking at Carolyne Roehm‘s website.  The rest of the details are just as lovely as I knew they would be and are definitely going in my wedding inspiration folder.  I also love that Minnie didn’t wear a strapless dress.  They full announcement of her nuptials to director Stephen Gagan in the Vows section is worth the read.

Stunning pair… I love the alternative to the “normal” wedding.
Great looking and the decor is breathtaking.

So lovely. And I am glad I am not the only one out here who is a bit sick of the over done strapless look.

Definitely worth keeping these photos as inspiration for your own wedding! The colour and simplicity work perfectly. Oh yes, I agree with you about the dress & the vows add so much more to the photos… so romantic! Thanks, Heather.

I totally agree about the strapless dresses. Here in the Midwest that is all anyone wears. I’m so over it! Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing.
