If you were a fan of Domino magazine, then you remember Lili Diallo‘s amazing styling skills.  I’m very excited that her new book Details: A Stylist’s Secrets to Creating Inspired Interiors has just been released so we can all learn from the master.  Also seemed like a good time to revisit her Brooklyn loft.  It’s like the American version of Loulou de la Falaise’s Paris apartment.  Enjoy!

    Hello Heather!

I just woke up from a nap! I am saying this because I didn’t do that for AGES! So, I am celebrating it! Yeah, life can get so busy sometimes, that even the simple things, must be celebrated and remembered that they are important.

Now, this is so charming! I never read “Domino”. I know it’s crazy, but I didn’t! Oh, my… and seeing these pictures was even more interesting because of that. It’s something totally new to me, and after seeing this, I want to read the book. Lili seems to be brilliant!

Have a fun day, and remember to “take it easy” sometimes… just relax and listen to yourself. 🙂

Thanks for posting this—you’re right—it is like the American version of Loulou de la Falais’ apartment in Paris. Thanks for posting and I miss Domino’s.
    Love your blog, btw.

    Heather,

Your blog is so cool! I just love dropping by to see what’s new with you. I don’t get to do that as much as I would like, but I am never disappointed when I do stop by. And, for having such a lovely blog, I have awarded you the Cherry on Top Award. If you’d like to display it on your blog, just stop by my blog to pick it up.

I love French and NYC homes and interiors for the one thing they always have in common – an abundance of books.

Wowsies! So exciting!! I kept every single issue of Domino (and I am an OCD purger!)and still think that folding that magazine was a major mistake. Thanks for the heads-up on the book.
