Double RL and O

I have appointments and client shopping to do today but I hope I can make it home by 4:00pm to watch Oprah.  She’ll be interviewing Ralph Lauren at his Double RL ranch in Telluride, Colorado, pictured here.  Apparently, it’s his first television interview in 20 years and quite a coup for Oprah’s final season.  Enjoy!

His is a legend and icon, but in the promo, didn’t it just look a little tacky to have eveyone (him, his wife, his children sitting on the sofa) all dressed in RL? Talk about hitting me over the head.

Here in Chicago we see Oprah at 9am. I didn’t watch though, just couldn’t.

Really enjoyed this “real” interview on Oprah today. They have the life and the incredible setting in which to enjoy it, but they also seem to have the right values. A family that accomplished and warm doesn’t happen without respect and love for each member. They certainly showed that. And I must say, if I look anywhere near as beautiful as Ricki Lauren when I am 70ish I will be really grateful. She is a beauty and it appears to be inside and out. Fun post.

I dislike oprah immensely and can’t wait for her to be gone, but I LOVE Ralph Lauren. I taped this and was surprised to find O not as annoying as usual. It was great to hear Ralph and his family talk about his work and their life.
