Fabulous French Wedding

A friend recently asked for wedding site referrals to help his friend plan her wedding in Barcelona.  While I don’t think it would be right for Spain, his request did remind me that I never posted photos from this fabulous wedding in France.  I saw it in Veranda magazine and all of the details really caught my eye. What’s not to love about a wedding at a Chateau with Laduree macarons and butterflies from Deyrolle?!  To read the entire story and start drooling, click here.

Her bouquet is to die for! I know it’s the marriage that counts, not the wedding, but that must have helped!

The bride, the groom, the location, the flowers, Line Vautrin necklace (!), the table–all perfection.

I love those wooden candle holders; they’re so nice. The whole wedding is so earthy and elegant.

I also like the brown feathers in the bouquet.

very nice table settings. I’m so please to see the flatware properly set, especially the dessert spoon which is often mis-set. Nice.

I pulled the same images from Veranda when the issue came out because I loved the colors and texture and feel of the entire wedding. I actually have been to the Chateau where this was held w/o realizing it until months after I had returned home and was flipping through old tear outs. It is open to the public & by a series of comic errors we met the Marquis :o)Truly beautiful and elegant.
