For the Boys

10 . 23 . 11I realized recently that I haven’t been giving enough love to my male readers. And yes, I do have them. What better way to say I heart you than with a fall fashion and decor melange that was inspired by Jenna Lyons’ dining room above. All the fashion photos are by my favorite street style photographer Tommy Ton for GQ. Except for Cary Grant of course. I also might have thrown one woman into the mix. Her outfit reminded me too much of the vintage mirror not to. Enjoy!

Hi Heather,
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
They say its a mans world but in the land of blogging particularly in Design, it is very much female dominated, (or so it seems). We are watching from the side line and love your inspirational world.
Thank you again for this great post and your wonderful blog. Will you ever do a story on Australian design or Australian Designer?
Keep well,
my best wishes,
Daryl Wark
that black-painted Birkin is really cool, glad it was a woman carrying it. I think men are trying to hard these days to be cool and collected, it comes off too studied and too editorial. Real style doesn’t draw so much attention to itself.
Um… I’ll take everything! Clothing and interiors. Specifically the last leather jacket. So fantastic!

The Rose Tarlow images are inspiring as are the other images with bookcases. I have a thing for bookcases these days. I am not much into fashion as it feels like custom for me. Wanna help ? An inspiring post as usual. Enjoy your week. ~best
i LOVE the kitchen shown in photo 7! LOVE.

Joseph the Butler, great point!
Dear HC, I think “Habitually Inspiring” is a good descriptor for your male oriented posts! I’m helping a friend throw together his new temporary digs. I’m forwarding this post…
Loving that last closet. I would be hard pressed to share with my husband!
Oh I love it! Something for all the men out there. Thanks you, beautiuful post.
