Marrakech Moment

I loved this spread entitled Marrakech Moment when it was first featured in Harper’s Bazaar. Now I can use it as outfit inspiration on my upcoming trip.  I’m excited to announce that I will be visiting not only Marrakech but also Casablanca, Morocco 1-8 November.  Not sure where I am staying yet but I’m already dreaming about what treasures I’m going to find at the souk.  Also hoping to make it Jardin Majorelle, La Mamounia, and lots of other beautiful places.  If you have any suggestions, please feel free to send them my way. In the meantime, I’m off to plan what to pack!

Fabulous photos from an even more fabulous city!! I have so many suggestions on what to do and where to go whilst in Marrakech, depending on your needs. I go there 1-2 every year and has been for so long, NEVER get tired of this city. For wining & dining “Bo zin” and “Jad Mahal” is a MUST!! Completelt different and both amazing.. I have so many other places to suggest also, if interested, please contact me!

Marrakech is absolutely stunning – as are these pics! I suggest the ultra-luxe Hotel Royal Mansour, which I’m doing a blog post on this week. The interiors are luscious and the location is perfection. Enjoy!

Dar Sabra is gorgeous, very peaceful, excellent cuisine–it has since become a Relais & Chateaux.

If you were going to Tangier, I would recommend the Hotel Nord-Pinus Tangier for its stunning design.

Back in Marrakesh, don’t miss the boutique at the Jardins Marorelle–they have an excellent selection of antique photos at reasonable prices. And go early or late to avoid the crowds.

    Bon voyage!

You have to go to La Mamounia, it was incredible, I’ve never had that level of service before, from the pick up at the airport they treated me princess -hot towels and chilled almond milk and honey for the journey – oh I could get used to that!

How excited you must be, a fabulous experience awaits you no matter how it all turns out. And best of all you now know what to wear when leading your camel. Good luck. Ann

In town, don’t miss the Ben Youssef Madrasa -a 14th century Islamic college. Also, it’s really worth doing a trip out of town into the Atlas mountains. The scenery is amazing and it’s a real contrast to the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.
