Tickled Pink

My usual aversion to pink stems from growing up in a Peptol-Bismol pink bedroom.  That’s not to say that I hate all pink.  I love the dirty pink nude color of my Lanvin bracelets and Club Monaco scarf.   But since it’s Valentine’s Day and all, I figured why not give in to the color of love. From the pale pink of first blush to the red hot pink of true love, it can be chic. Especially when it’s the color of a Celine bag.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

mmmm we love the soft pink hues of the beginning images! gorgeous 🙂 sometimes pink can be over done, but in these cases… they are more inspirational! xx, The Golden Girls

LOVE this post!! I actually painted my bedroom the exact same pink as that House Beautiful photo when I was single and in my own place. I knew it was likely my only shot at a pink bedroom. So glad I went for it!

Those rosey and light pink hues are so divine! Reminiscent of the 80’s and in a GOOD WAY! I especially love the muted pink blazer in this post.

Hi Heather…….”dirty pink” in all its variations reminds me of the shade of pink tiles, highlighted with black tiles that was considered super chic in the late ’40s and ’50s. Interesting to see it with the orange vest. xoxo Mary

Valentine’s is a Hallmark holiday – who gives a rat’s @ss. Now, onto important things: I LOVE Cy Twombly and if I ever win the lottery (when I start playing!!) I will totally buy an original. Secondly, I love that Robt. Fulghum quote. Profound. Congrats on your book. Super cool.
