It’s not the best photo but big thanks to Curbed for alerting me that Domino Quick Fixes is already hitting newsstands before the April 17th launch date. I for one will be running to my favorite magazine stands for it today.  I can’t wait to read it!

Wait, is Domino coming back? or is just this issue? I miss “my” magazine!

hmm, I’m wondering if my regular (non-super) Walmart would have it in my small West Texas town? I gotta have it!

Hello – I love reading your blog. I am in Sydney, Australia and have no idea how to get my hands on a copy. If I sent you money through paypal, is there any chance that you could buy me a copy and I will pay plus the cost of postage. Please don’t worry if this would be too much hassle. Do you know of anyway to get US magazines sent to Australia? – my web searches have come to nothing. Many thanks Emma

I picked it up yesterday in NYC.

Brace yourselves…I was kinda underwhelmed. I have every issue of Domino so articles that praise the virtures of painting furniture and replacing cabinet hardware seemed like old news. There also is very little in the way of new photography, it is mostly repurposed old photos from Domino.

It’s still very Domino-y in terms of the look and content, so fans will love that part of it. The heavy paper gives it more of a softcover book feel than a magazine feel. For a newsstand price of $10.99 I just would have liked a little more originality out of my beloved Domino.

Nice! I had no idea they were doing this. Thanks for the head’s up.

I remember that chair on the cover. That tells me it’s recycled Domino content instead of new stuff. I’ll spend my $11 elsewhere.

Hi Heather–on my way (it’s still a bit early) to Barnes and Noble to get a copy of this much awaited rag. Thanks for the heads up. Mary

I already subscribed because I want to make sure that they have sufficient readership again to stay afloat this time. I hope I’m not disappointed!

@The Countes of Nassau County Thanks for the honest review. I think I will pick it up because I do have every issue and would hate to not add this to the collection. But my expectations have been lowered so I won’t be as disappointed.

Thanks for the sneak peek Heather
