I’m not usually a copycat when it comes to clothes but when I saw this dress on Jamie Beck of From Me To You, I knew I had to have it. She wore it to the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic recently and posted pics on her fabulous blog.  She didn’t say it was from Ralph Lauren until this week and luckily, they still had a few left on sale online.  It looks to be gone now but it’s the Julianne Crepe Dress under the Blue Label line if you want to check the stores.  They also have lots of other great dresses on sale too. 

It arrived today and it’s just as flattering as I knew it would be from her photos.  I have a photo shoot next week for a new foreign magazine and I can’t wait to wear it, right after it comes back from being shortened at the tailor.  I don’t think I can pull off the straw boater and oxfords but my new black and white Roger Vivier snakeskin sandals might be a good match.
