Chic in High Point: Bernhardt

This lingering cold and cough has me behind on editing my photos from High Point and just about everything else in my life. I feel especially bad because I couldn’t wait to share the award winning entry that new creative director designed for Bernhardt. High Point can be exhausting and their library was the perfect place to rest for a spell before or after a showroom visit. If the large scale artwork looks familiar, it’s because Ron was inspired by designer Raji Radhakrishnan creates in her spaces like she did in her Bureau Prive in the Kips Bay Decorator Show House earlier this year. The library was also the perfect place to highlight their chic yet affordable furniture collections. Bernhardt is a winner all around.

Wow, so sorry about Conde Nast. Frankly, I don’t get it. Perhaps an unfortunate sign of well-deserved envy?

How silly of Conde Nast. I think your posts are more interesting than either of those publications.
I won’t be renewing my AD subscription.

Hi Heather. It’s a great space. Hopefully that cold of yours will clear up before the big push of the book release. Sending love,
    Mary

Heather, I LOVE your blog. I believe I have been reading it since you began. I am not an interior designer but I love architecture, work spaces and beauty. You bring all of that and more to me each day. Thank you for having such great taste and sharing it! I live in Wisconsin in a small rural town so no book signing for me. I plan to buy your book as an early Christmas present. If I sent it to you, would you sign it? I will pay for postage both ways.

    Sincerly,
    Kim

P.S. Sorry about Vogue and AD. Their loss as far as I can see. I am certain I am not the only one who would dash right out and buy a copy once you posted pictures or highlights from either magazine on your blog. I did this on a regular basis!Oh well as I said, their loss..

Hi Heather, It was so great meeting you in High Point this Fall! I am so happy you enjoyed your time in our showroom – despite your cold. I hope our Southern hospitality will entice you back in the Spring. Good luck on the book tour.

Just fabulous!!! The 3rd photo is fantastic. Can you please write me what is the name and the artist of the painting in the wall? I love the style. Everything just match!!

    Thanks in advance
