Pretty Petite

Interior designer Stephen Mooney designed the smallest room in the Kips Bay Decorator Show House with the biggest impact this year.  It’s a petite space designed as ladies writing room that is a serene oasis in the chaos of the rest of the house.  It would make an excellent room for blogging too. I wonder if they’d let me come over with my laptop.

Lovely. Reminds me of a friend’s NY City maid’s room that has just about been every room possible. A maid’s room, a nursery, a guest room, a home office….
