The Catcher in the Rye is one of the most read books in the world which made the reclusive nature if its author J.D. Salinger (1919-2010) even more amazing.  The new documentary Salinger that will be released on September 6th looks into his life and what might have been behind his decision to shun public life.  It features over 150 interviews with his friends and those he inspired, some of which you can see in the trailer below. Definitely add it to your must see list for fall 2013. And maybe pull your copy of The Catcher in the Rye off the shelf for one more read.
“I like it when somebody gets excited about something. It’s nice.”

‘The catcher in the rye’ is one of my all time favourite books…Though I’m no loner, I could identify with a lot of what Holden goes through..Maybe there is a little bit of recluse and a misfit in all of us…this movie should be good..thanks for the head up, heather..xx meenal

I need this movie poster. Where would I go to get my hands on one? BTW I don’t live in the continental US. Is it available online for purchase unframed?
