Black & White and Wet All Over
by habituallychic
02 . 05 . 14New York is a wet and slushy mess today. I thank my lucky stars that my morning commute is from my bed to my desk. I still can’t completely escape the grey skies and black and white landscape though. Here’s how it’s inspiring me today.

great shots to brighten up a grey day
We’ve got lots of snow here in Toronto too. Big fan of black and white – love your pics and quotes.

HC,
You are a kindred spirit! Thank you for always brightening a world that, in Chicago winter, seems gloomy and for bringing positivity into my fears about starting my business.
Warm regards!
Even though your post is black, white and grey, today, you bought colour to my morning. Thank you.
LOVE these shots – such a beautifully chosen selection!
This was an amazing and inspiring post. Thanks so much!
Great post…Great Taste!
Enjoy the day! MEG
Hi Heather, Please send some of the cold and snow (or rain) to LA. That said. I’ve saved ALL of the quotes–this is what I’ve been working on lately (past umpteen years)–I’ll be framing them to hang all around me. Thank you. STAY WARM AND LOVED AND JOYFUL. xoxox Mary
One more thing……I used to own an identical dupont lighter……. xoxo Mary
A most lovely assortment of photos! Thank you for posting. Look forward to another of a similar post–your choice of pictures is wonderful.
A gorgeous edit, as always! Thanks especially for the inspiring quotes.
I love the skating photograph at the beginning of the post. Is it available for sale?
Amazing photos! I am a fan of black and white.
Today we have very cold … but sunny morning in Chicago.
Welcome to visit my blog anytime.

I love these posts!
They make me think….and smile.
Black and white, Paris and New York – Le sigh…nothing makes me happier! xo
So inspiring….
The two photos that pierced me: the ski trail–I had to leave CO last year, and that photo reminded me of how beautiful and ethereal the mtns are. Miss it much.
The sink–I’ve been dreaming of a new kitchen day&nite,, and it’s very hard to find examples of the same stone used for both counter and backsplash. What a clean look.
