I spent time today doing what I always do when it’s cold and snow is forecasted, I look at Italian villas online and wish it was summer. One that I’ve fallen in love with via Instagram is Castello di Reschio in Umbria, Italy. The 3,000 acre estate is comprised of a nine rental houses of varying sizes each with their own garden, as well as the main villa which is home to the Bolza family. There are also beautiful stables and wild Spanish horses on the picture post card perfect property. Don’t you feel warmer just looking at these photos?

I have been to Reschio many, many times, and it is a stunningly beautiful place. Definitely worth a visit.

    Dear Heather,
I am in an Umbriam mood also, having lived in Orvieto for a long period of time.
I just published a post on the gorgeous marvellous villas in the Umbrian region.
Everything is just fabulous in Umbria, the food, the atmosphere, the climate…..
    Have a great day

The horses running pic is really good! Sold on that vacation! I love how they are able to have a magical casual chic to their homes. Fancy but not fussy! Thanks for the pictures..
