Astier de Villatte on Film

I love checking out Astier de Villatte when I walk down rue Saint Honoré.  The photo above is one I took of their beautiful flower arrangements. I’ve always wondered who was behind the products. Vogue just posted a short firm about the company and it’s mysterious founders Ivan Pericoli and Benoît Astier de Villatte that is definitely worth checking out.  The fact that artisans make each product by hand makes me want to buy their signature white ceramics and graphic notebooks even more now. Their Aoyama candle is one of my all time favorite scents and now that I know who is behind it, I may have to beg them to make it as a perfume.   If you can’t get to Paris, you can always buy their products at John Derian in New York.

Bon week-end!

I’ve heard so much about these famous ceramists– renaissance men…but didn’t know their roots. thank you. Mary

Thank you. This was lovely. I’ve had a few pieces for a few years now, and this definitely makes me want more. I love the collection they do with John Derian, who is another favorite. Need to raid my piggy bank!
