Many people will be heading to the Hamptons this weekend to spend the last unofficial weekend of summer at the beach.  The house in Something’s Gotta Give inspired the decor of many beach homes so I thought you would be interested to know that according to Curbed, the Shingle Style house that was used for the exterior shots has sold for $41 Million. While the address for the home in the film is in Sagaponack, it is actually located at 576 Meadow Lane in Southampton, one of the most exclusive and expensive roads in the Hamptons. While that price tag is out of the realm of possibility for most of us, at least looking at the photos is free.  Nancy Meyers, the writer, producer, and director of the Something’s Gotta Give, is hard at work on her latest movie, The Intern, in New York right now.  Can’t wait to see those sets next.
