Emerson Fry Fall Favorites
Even though it’s supposed to be 90 degrees in New York tomorrow, I’m shopping the fall collection that just debuted on Emerson Fry. It’s filled with cozy sweaters and chic coats as well a few pairs of lust worthy shoes and boots. Just as lovely as the clothes is the home in which they shoot the look book. After I’m finished shopping for fall fashions, I think I’m going to look for a new rug for my living room. I can already see myself living in this Big Cable Turtleneck Sweater. It would be perfect alone or under a vest on chillier days.
The Black Waxed Tactical Bag won’t be available until October but I’d put your name on the waiting list now. I’m sure it will be sold out as soon as it arrives. I finally had to retire my very old black Phillip Lim winter coat. I think this Drop Shoulder Coat will be the perfect replacement. I’ve made the mistake a few times of waiting until it was cold to buy new boots only to find my size sold out. Never again. These Wrap Boots will be perfect for dressing up jeans It’s going to be hard to chose between the Drop Shoulder Coat and this Variegated Tweed Coat this fall but the Big Knit Scarf is a no brainer. I’ve never met a blue shirt I didn’t like as evidenced by the row of them in my closet but that doesn’t mean I can’t make room for this Organic Chambray Shirt this fall. I also love the chunkier heel of these Stealth D’Orsay Heels to pair with all my black dresses. One of the best pieces I packed for Paris was a cashmere cardigan for the changeable weather. I love the Elephante color of the Emerson Fry Stewart Cardigan to update my cardigan collection.Something I don’t have in my closet is a more casual weekend jacket. This Combo Parka looks like a perfect option when I don’t want to throw on a longer coat.
I know it’s hard to think about heavy fall clothes when it’s still hot out but when you shop early, you’re guaranteed to find your size and you won’t be caught unprepared when the temperature finally drops.
