I wish I was revisiting Paris in person but I’m only revisiting the architecture online. While I don’t love everything about this apartment in the 9th arrondissement by Double G, I do love the boiseries, herringbone floors, and fireplaces, especially the one in the bathroom. But when I was living in Paris, I heard that you aren’t actually allowed to use the fireplaces in Paris by law. Not sure if this is true but if it is, it seems quite a shame considering how drafty Parisian apartments can be. C’est la vie.
