La Reserve Paris
According to social media, it seemed like everyone was staying at La Reserve Hotel for fashion week. Just as I put it on my must visit list, I saw that my Instagram friend David Leppan was also staying at the chic hotel. When he suggested tea, I immediately agreed to come to him to check it out.
I arrived a little early and asked the staff if I could look around a little. They had someone accompanied me who explained each space to me. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating.
La Reserve is located at 42 Avenue Gabriel in a Haussmann mansion between Avenue Montaigne and rue Faubourg Saint Honoré with beautiful outdoor spaces and views of the Eiffel Tower. There are 26 suites, 14 rooms, 10 apartments, a two Michelin star restaurant, an indoor pool, and a luxurious spa. While the hotel, suites, and rooms seem a bit more traditional, the apartments have a more clean and contemporary feel.
Jacques Garcia designed the interiors and each room on the ground floor is a little jewel box of color and gilt. The mirrored accents let in light but still allow each space to feel cozy, especially with the many fireplaces.
If you are looking for a new place to stay in Paris, I don’t think you would be disappointed by La Reserve.
