Time for White
by habituallychic
03 . 31 . 16 The old rule of thumb is that you can’t wear white after Labor Day or before Easter. Obviously, people wear white all year round nowadays but sometimes it doesn’t work until spring and warmer weather arrives. Now that the temperature is headed into the 70’s, I feel like I can pull out a white blazer to wear with jeans. Of course, white blazers and jackets work with all types of outfits and no one is a better example of this than Miroslava Duma. Here are a few white blazers and coats inspired by her to get your spring started.
The blazer she wears above is more ivory than white but you get the idea. And this Alexander McQueen Wool Blazer is very similar.
Cotton Crepe Blazer
Shall Lapel Jersey Blazer
Balmain is the Rolls Royce of blazers and I love their White Double Breasted Blazer.
If Balmain is out of your budget, this White House Black Market Blazer is a great alternative.
Another great Balmain blazer is this Balmain Two Button Blazer.
Mira even wore a white blazer while pregnant. This Stretch Cotton Blend Blazer might be an option for an expanding belly
Verginika Blazer
I’ve been thinking about buying myself this J.Crew Ludlow Blazer in white linen.
This Malene Birger Striped Blazer is almost exactly the same as the one Mira wore recently.
Ann Taylor has been looking better and better this year and I love their White One Button Blazer.
Another great option from J.Crew is their White Linen Rhodes Blazer.
Mira also wears white coats that are a great alternative to a tan trench coat for spring and this White Double Faced Coat is beyond chic.
Silk Trimmed Wool Blend Coat
This Cashmere Collarless Coat would be perfect for spring’s fluctuating temps.
