Winter Antiques Show 2017
One of the most anticipated events every January is the Winter Antiques Show which benefits the East Side House Settlement, a community resource in the South Bronx with programs that “focus on education and technology as gateways out of poverty and as the keys to economic opportunity.”
The mix of art, antiques, objects, and jewelry never disappoints and this year was no exception. I attended the Designer Preview on Friday morning with my friend David Lawrence and we had a lovely time touring the exhibitions and running into other designer friends. Even if you can’t afford anything, it’s always wonderful see the best of the best up close to train your eye. David and I will also be attending the Young Collector’s Night this week if you would like to join us.
If you can’t make it Thursday, please try to stop by before the Winter Antiques Show closes on Sunday, January, 29th.
