The best place to learn about new hotels is on Instagram and that’s exactly how I learned about the Hotel des Grands Boulevards in Paris. It was developed by the Experimental Group and designed by Dorothée Meilichzon in the 2nd arrondissement in an 18th-century building “erected shortly before the French Revolution on the foundation of an old garden, now a secret garden reached through a long passageway into the building.”

The 50 rooms include canopied beds, rounded scallop motifs, beautiful colors, and rustic accents. Some look small but there are some larger style rooms as well. I love that they include floor plans of each room type so you won’t be surprised upon check in.

The hotel also includes a cocktail bar called The Shell in sexy 1960’s style of rusty reds and brass and a restaurant whose menu was established by chef Giovanni Passerini. I saw some very chic Parisians enjoying the restaurant on Instagram so even if you don’t stay at the hotel, you should book a reservation.

The hotel is also located very close to the L’Appartement Sézane store so you can do some shopping during your stay.

Bon voyage!
